Description

Berkey & Gay Furniture Company began its roots in 1866 in Grand Rapids, Michigan creating fine furniture until 1948. This beautiful chair is made from Mahogany with a blue upholstered seat.The top of the back is hand painted with floral detail. Chair back is square with a diamond patterned fretwork. The legs have bulbous reeded top that taper into arrow feet. Legs are connected front to back with a stretcher, and a trestle from side to side. Chair bears Berkey and Gays original Stamp 1905-1929, Pattern 5124.
