Circa 1940s drum table with glass top. Perfect for any library or sitting area. Made from Mahogany with a tooled leather top and rotating center console with bookcase compartment. The piece is supported by 4 sabre legs leading to brass paw feet with casters. Features 2 dovetailed functional drawers amidst several false drawers. Drawer fronts are composed of flamed mahogany with brass hardware. Originally purchased from the Rike Kumler Co in Dayton, Ohio.
When the table is rotating the leather top remains stationary while the central portion moves around.
