An exceptional English Regency / Georgian inspired Flip top game table or console by Baker Furniture. The design is after the Original made by William Trotter of Edinburgh in 1815.
The rectangular fold over top has a beaded moulded edge, and stands on the classic Trotter design, scrolling supports over a quadriform base with downswept sabre legs finished on cast brass caps and casters beneath. Made from elm with carpathian elm burled top and ebonized inlay. The table opens to a beautiful tooled leather top. Perfect for card games or tea. When the table is swiveled open a small storage compartment is revealed. The tables exceptional design makes for the perfect addition to any space.
